40 wks/yr:  Jan to May, a few weeks in the summer, then Sep to Dec

Appleyard Dancers are a group of female dancers. We dance traditional style dances such as folk, border and Morris to live music. We have male and female musicians who play a variety of instruments. The group was started in Upton upon Severn in 1991, our members come from Worcester, Malvern, Tewkesbury, Pershore and the surrounding villages.

During the winter months we meet weekly on a Thursday evening to learn and practice dances, in the summer we dance out at festivals, fetes and pubs, often with other dance groups. We will always give a warm welcome to new dancers (no experience needed!) and musicians. Visit us any week to see what we do and possibly join in, with no obligation!

THIS ISN'T JUST EXERCISE

IT'S GENTLE POWER, QUIET CONFIDENCE, A PATH TO INNER CALM AND OUTER STRENGTH.

TAI CHI IS OFTEN DESCRIBED AS "MEDITATION IN MOTION," BUT IT MIGHT WELL BE CALLED "MEDICATION IN MOTION."

THERE IS GROWING EVIDENCE THAT THIS MIND-BODY PRACTICE, HAS VALUE IN TREATING OR PREVENTING MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS

AND YOU CAN GET STARTED EVEN IF YOU AREN'T IN TOP SHAPE OR THE BEST OF HEALTH.

AND BECAUSE TAI CHI IS A MIX OF EXERCISE AND MEDITATION, YOUR BRAIN GETS A WORKOUT TOO-LEADING TO BETTER BRAIN FUNCTION.

IT IMPROVES HEART HEALTH, AND HAS EVEN BEEN SHOWN TO BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM.

BUT THE REAL MAGIC?

IT ADAPTS TO YOU-YOUR PACE, YOUR ENERGY, YOUR STORY.

A RARE CHANCE TO LEARN FROM A GLOBALLY RECOGNISED MASTER, NOW TEACHING LOCALLY IN YOUR VILLAGE.

PERFECT FOR ALL AGES AND FITNESS LEVELS—

ESPECIALLY IF YOUR GYM DAYS ARE BEHIND YOU, OR NEVER QUITE BEGAN.

NO SWEATING. NO PRESSURE. JUST PEACEFUL MOVEMENT AND GOOD COMPANY
